members that annoy me

Category: the Rant Board

Post 1 by alison (my ISP would be out of business if it wasn't for this haven I live at) on Thursday, 04-Nov-2004 22:04:28

there is a certain member here, who annoys me. I shall not mention names, but i believe that if it is you, you'll know. This member posts neggitive things. He is either ranting on about something or someone, or expressing views on presidents that are uncomprehencible. you know who you are!

Post 2 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 8:13:22

i take it that would be moi ah well you'll get over it.

Post 3 by _rory_ (predictable kryptic) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 8:23:07

alison, why did you even post this topic in the first place? were you trying to start a fight? it sounds like you were.

Post 4 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 8:35:23

Makes a change eh? she probably has nothing else to do but waste time in these small and unimportant ways.

Post 5 by Leafs Fan (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 8:38:08

You know one thing? I don't even read these boards much anymore. Too much stupidity and too much drama. I see your point Alison.

Post 6 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 8:54:26

Well well, what fun! Nobody on these boards annoy me, what annoys me is the way that some people seem to take offence at the smallest thing and then go on to blow it up out of all proportion. Lighten up everybody, life's too short! read something on these boards and agree or disagree with it if you will, but there ain't any point in being bitchy about it is there?

Post 7 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 8:57:18

His inhuman scream filled the empty glen and echoed around the mountains like thunder Marcus clutched the gaping wound as his aristocratic blood poured onto the muddied snow Jamie surveyed the carnage and argued with the full implications of their fight "there's only enough blood for 1 Marcus! Or Lorne! Christ!" "That's...No bloody...Use man"
Vincent was on his knees and drinking the blood cupped in his hands the symbolism was touching pathetic and beautiful Marcus had dreamed of this moment his Lestat finally brought to heel.

Post 8 by alison (my ISP would be out of business if it wasn't for this haven I live at) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 9:17:11

tell me two thing, gobblin. one: why did you jump to the conclusion that I was ranting about you? I may have been, I may not have been. two: why did you post that "story" in this topic?

Post 9 by Freya (This site is so "educational") on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 9:38:27

Jeez Alison stop being so annoying!

Post 10 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 9:57:16

Alison 1 was just the reaction to months of complete hate which i see shows no sign of ending
2 it was a mistake anyway why let that little error annoy it's not good for your blood pressure.

Post 11 by Jesse (Hmm!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 10:00:47

*sighs* Life's too short to hate! Love everybody! It's what makes me so happy!

Post 12 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 10:16:21

everybody? That's impossible I can't imagine for 1 moment that you feel affection for every single living being.

Post 13 by _rory_ (predictable kryptic) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 10:22:36

Can't we all just get along?

Post 14 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 10:38:21

i wish but as usual there are those who want a perpetual war.

Post 15 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 10:49:29

Good lord the knives are being sharpened aren't they? It's amazing what a state some people can get into over so small a thing! allison, haven't you got anything better to do than pick fights with other users? If you haven't, then I invite you to criticise some of my posts, I'm more than up for a heated exchange or two but you'll have met your match my friend! goblin, even is she is getting at you, why don't you act your bleedin' age and not rise to the challenge? for a man of peace you do seem to perpetuate these so-called 'wars'! Acosha and Freya, as is their wont, are talking jolly good sense. Maybe the best way of sorting this out is having a huge battle royal, just like they used to in WWF wrestling as it used to be called, where all the zone users who can't bear the sight of each other can entertain us all by having an American wrestling-style fight. If enough people think it's a good idea, maybe we could raise enough money to get a promoter interested, or else hire out some seedy old pub in the east end of London and have the fight there? Unfortunately travel expenses of any participants cannot be reimbursed.

Post 16 by Godzilla-On-Toast (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 12:02:38

Love everybody? All get along? That seems like quite a tall order. I fear it'll take a major software upgrade in human nature and I'm not holding my breath waiting for its release. Hahahahahaha! Apparently either people feel there's something good and necessary about hatred, else they just need it like food or water.

Post 17 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 12:18:37

come on, it would be boring if we all agreed and the like wouldn't it?

Post 18 by Freya (This site is so "educational") on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 12:35:55

And there are those, Gobby, who turn their backs on their erstwhile friends and treat them like s**t....
I think naked mud wrestling would do the trick don't you Lawlord? Very entertaining hmmmm...Frey.

Post 19 by _rory_ (predictable kryptic) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 13:34:38

hey lawlord, that's a great idea. i'm all for it. it would be fun to watch.

Post 20 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 14:10:22

Okay, in Roman times what they used to do is stage mock fights as it were, between seasoned gladiators and fat people who did nothing all day for example, just for entertainment value. maybe we could incorporate something like that into the plan as well for our rumble in the jungle? The Eagle and Child in Oxford would be a fine venue, but of course travel expenses will not be reimbursed.

Post 21 by The Roman Battle Mask (Making great use of my Employer's time.) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 19:32:40

You guys these boards are nothing, go take a look at some of the crap in student life section messege forums on www.allmsu.com I was looking forward to the sespool of humanity, but just not enough profanity and biggits to compare to my normal internet boards.

Post 22 by louiano (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 05-Nov-2004 22:37:50

so, in fact, how can we call your "normal boards"?
oh, and well, people got of the point, first it was someone upset, and it went from that to a wrestling show. lol. Well, I like these boards since I can see a lot of inmaturity here that makes me laugh. For example, one fighting each other... welll, I won't say I am the "peaceful kid", sometimes is good to have a war... lol

Post 23 by alison (my ISP would be out of business if it wasn't for this haven I live at) on Saturday, 06-Nov-2004 1:26:06

look here. I wasn't trying to start a fight. I was merely expressing my views; nothing bad. and now, others have turned it into a fight.

Post 24 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 06-Nov-2004 1:41:43

I hate to get involved in this, but what i just want to say is this, and I don't care what you lot think about it. Alison has every right to rant on here, as we all do. As she says she didn't mean to start everything. WIth that, let's just leave this topic alone and all be friends? Lol? Maybe?
Caitlin

Post 25 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Saturday, 06-Nov-2004 6:02:44

No no, seconds out, round 2! Allison of course has the right to come and say what the hell she wants on these blasted boards, I mean, I always say what I think and I don't give a sod who cares about it! And let's face it, there's nothing like a good fight to make us all feel better, especially if you're watching! comic duals between people four foot tall and basketball players still on then? If a certain member annoys you Allison my friend, you should have the courage of your convictions and make your criticism more specific, I mean criticise the detail of the posts you find particularly objectionable. All right, I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a warmonger at heart, but I'd much rather have this sort of a discussion rather than one where everyone agreed with each other. Let's go get 'em!

Post 26 by Japanimangel (Account disabled) on Saturday, 06-Nov-2004 19:29:47

okay, I just want ya'll to know that I'm not taking sides. Allyson does have the right to say what she feels on the boards, just like teh rest of us, but I a gree with some others that if she has something against a certain member, she should just say who it is, instead of having a bunch of other people gang up on her. /I can understand how some people get annoyed with others, hell it happens in every day person to person life, and it's all good and fine. Not everyone can love everyone, but we all should at least tallerate one an other. I think that if she is annoyed with this certain person's poasts, then she shouldn't read any of them. That way, both win. The person gets to rant and post what ever they want to, and allyson can still have loads of fun on the zone to! Goblynn, I don't think you should be so quick to judge that it was you. That shows that you have insicurities, and you really shouldn't worry about it. If she doesn't like what you or anyone else has to say, she doesn't have to read it. See, a much easyer way of resolving things rather than starting an all out war on here. I like this site because people can come here and comunicate. Lately there's been too much bullshit on here, and it's getting really old. I like peace dammit! lol anyway, bitch at me if ya all wish, but I don't take sides, and I'm not trying to offend anyone at all. I just hate seeing people fight over such silliness

Post 27 by Emerald-Hourglass (Account disabled) on Saturday, 06-Nov-2004 20:33:23

I agree with Japanimangel.

Post 28 by Godzilla-On-Toast (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 06-Nov-2004 22:14:13

Alison had a right to express herself, but those who disagreed had the same right. That's the price you pay for freedom of speech. Not everyone will like what you say and will open up and say as much.

Post 29 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 07-Nov-2004 11:31:08

Look I'm not intolerant, but I just can't stand tha bastards! Hehehehehe.

Post 30 by Freya (This site is so "educational") on Monday, 08-Nov-2004 4:48:51

This argument has fallen rather flat LL, let's resurrect it for a bit of fun!? Frey. And who are you calling a bastard eh?

Post 31 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 08-Nov-2004 6:22:15

Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!

Post 32 by Jage (Zone BBS, a decade of madness) on Monday, 08-Nov-2004 14:30:15

It's kinda like going to President Bush and saying that you have a country that you think we should attack but you aren't going to tell him which one.

Post 33 by lawlord (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 08-Nov-2004 14:32:47

it's nothing like that at all. If we went to Bush with a proposal like that, his eyes would light up and he'd tell us all how the rest of the world was an axis of evil, and proceed to destroy it.

Post 34 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Saturday, 14-Apr-2007 7:21:14

Wow, I can't think of anyone who annoys me on here. well ... maybe one, but I won't mention the name here, and I'm not taking sides

Post 35 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Saturday, 14-Apr-2007 16:36:09

I don't take sides however I will say this:
I firmly believe in the first amendment so if someone writes about something you don't like...oh well.
Not to sound mean but that's the bare naked truth.

Post 36 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Saturday, 14-Apr-2007 19:52:26

Jesus Christ, this post is (was) over two years old. Why not let sleeping dogs lie.

Post 37 by Rune Knight (Ancient Demon - Darkness will always conquer Light!) on Saturday, 14-Apr-2007 20:44:11

The simple solution would be to... You guessed it, use the ignore button then your problem will be solved.

Post 38 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Saturday, 14-Apr-2007 23:45:47

Bob, well said.

Post 39 by kl1964 (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 15-Apr-2007 1:22:05

Wow, a post gets new life after 2.5 years! I guess it's true that board posts truly never die.

Post 40 by Austin's Angel (move over school!) on Sunday, 15-Apr-2007 7:49:05

there was no point at all, whatsoever for this board topic

Post 41 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Sunday, 15-Apr-2007 9:56:25

Now that I think of it, yes there was.

Members that anoy me?

Nymphadora. After all, she is the one who resurrected this topic with no purpose in mind.

So, though I don't know her, and she is probably a very decent person, she anoys me by bringing this topic back up.

So, now there is a purpose to this topic. I guess!

Bob

Post 42 by Liz (The Original) on Sunday, 15-Apr-2007 10:19:57

Why bring up old things again that have no need of being resurfaced? I'm in 100% agreement with Bob.

Post 43 by jmbauer (Technology's great until it stops working.) on Sunday, 15-Apr-2007 13:47:27

Nymphadora: 'Bob, well said.' So, how quickly you forget who brought this topic back to the surface in the first place?

And, if I didn't make it clearly obvious: Bob, I agree with both of your posts, and you really should stop reading my mind.

Okay. off to annoy myself by adding traffic to this topic.

Post 44 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Sunday, 15-Apr-2007 21:22:42

Jim anoys me too, it's not what he says, just what he thinks.

<lol>

Bob the kermudgen (really should learn how to spell that word.)

Post 45 by Magical (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 16-Apr-2007 0:44:52

lol I love that idea of the wrestling or boxing matches taking place somewhere! I know there's certain people I'd just love to deck if i had the chance. But just a pleasant dream and really not worth my time in the grand skeem of things but oh well. That's fucken great though. lmao!

Post 46 by Gilman Gal (A billy Gilman fan forever and always!!) on Monday, 14-May-2007 0:31:52

Alison, you have the ignore button, use it!

Post 47 by Izzito (This site is so "educational") on Monday, 14-May-2007 0:38:15

Jusio the scumm!

Post 48 by DancingAfterDark (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 14-May-2007 3:15:25

And once again, it's pointlessly resurfaced. Oy vey, people.
